Scaffolding Contractors
The majority of the works undertaken by the Company to date have been as Sub-Contractors working on stations nationally in regions covered by various power station owners. More recently on the project at Templeborough Biomass Plant and on Network Rail and Yorkshire Water infrastructures.
Over the past 38 years the Company has made a firm commitment to Rail Works and has a division specifically geared to providing scaffolding requirements on a national basis to the Network Rail industry. Recently the company has secured maintenance contracts on Yorkshire Water along with contracts on Renewi recycling waste facilities at South Kirkby and Manvers.
The Company continues to expand each year primarily focusing on Power, Network Rail and Water infrastructure with the added benefit of schools, hospital and decent homes projects.
Utilities infrastructure has become the main focus of the business realising long term maintenance contracts and continuity of services.
Building and civil engineering work will always be a part of S.Y.S works and will continue to form an integral part of the business.
The continued philosophy of the company is to meet the requirements of its clients as a specialised supplier and to continue to provide innovative solutions to customer requirements.
The efficient management of labour is one of the aspects of the Company’s success. Strict control of manning levels is maintained in all areas of activity which produces the quality of management experience.
It is the Chairman’s belief that a trading company’s performance is a reflection of the effort and capabilities of personnel involved from top to bottom. He is certain that all members of the Company will not fail through a lack of either requirements.
A progressive policy of recruiting the correct personnel has enabled the Company to be effectively managed throughout it’s growth, provide services on time and be profitable.
